• You may use PersonalTraits with a pseudonym if you wish. We encourage you to limit the personal information you share and to protect your civil identity as much as possible, especially in free-text fields, comments, testimonials, or AI-assisted interactions.
• We use your TSI answers to generate your Results, reports, and personalized recommendations.
• If you have an account, your Results and reports may be saved in your personal space so you can access them later.
• Even if you are not logged in, limited technical data, such as browser type or security-related information, may be collected to operate and protect the site.
• You may request access to your data, correction, deletion, portability, or restriction of certain processing, depending on applicable law.
• You may delete your account or contact us at any time about your data.
• We may use AI providers such as OpenAI, Google, DeepSeek, or other AI providers to generate or enhance certain reports.
• We do not intentionally send directly identifying civil identity information to AI providers, such as your full name, email address, postal address, payment details, password, government identifiers, account ID, or IP address, except where limited technical metadata is strictly required for security, routing, abuse prevention, or service delivery.
• If you use relationship or profile comparison features, we process the TSI profiles of the participants only to generate the comparison experience, with the informed participation of the people involved.
• We do not use your TSI Results to make legal, employment, credit, insurance, medical, or similarly significant decisions about you.
• Where we use data to improve PersonalTraits, we favor anonymized, aggregated, pseudonymized, or de-identified data whenever possible.

PersonalTraits is a self-discovery and personality reflection platform based on the Tension Score Index (TSI) model.

This Policy applies when you:

• visit or browse PersonalTraits;
• create or use an account;
• take the TSI Test;
• receive free Results;
• purchase or access a Premium Report;
• use AI-assisted features;
• use relationship or profile comparison features;
• contact support;
• submit feedback, comments, testimonials, or suggestions;
• participate in optional surveys or satisfaction questionnaires;
• share your Results through features made available by PersonalTraits;
• interact with cookies, analytics tools, affiliate tracking tools, or technical systems used by the Services.

This Policy does not apply to third-party websites, apps, platforms, payment processors, AI providers, social networks, affiliate websites, or other services that we do not control. Those third parties have their own privacy policies.

Depending on how you use PersonalTraits, we may collect and process the following categories of personal data:

We aim to collect only the personal data reasonably necessary to provide, secure, personalize, and improve PersonalTraits.

When you take the TSI Test, we use your answers to calculate your TSI scores, sub-tension scores, profile insights, and Results.

We treat your TSI answers, scores, Results, and reports as confidential personal data.

Access to this information is limited to what is reasonably necessary to:

• provide the Services;
• generate your Results or Premium Report;
• save your Results in your account where applicable;
• support your account;
• maintain security;
• improve the Platform;
• perform quality checks;
• provide relationship or profile comparison features where requested;
• comply with legal obligations.

If you are logged into your account, your Results and reports may be saved in your account so you can access them later.

If you are not logged into an account, certain Results or interaction data may be retained in anonymized, aggregated, pseudonymized, or de-identified form for service improvement, security, research, analytics, and product development, subject to applicable law.

Your Results are intended for personal reflection and self-discovery. They are not used by PersonalTraits to make legal, employment, credit, insurance, medical, or similarly significant decisions about you.

PersonalTraits may offer features that allow you to compare your TSI profile with another user, such as a friend, partner, colleague, family member, or close contact, in order to generate a personalized relationship or compatibility report.

These features may process both users’ TSI scores, sub-tension scores, Results, answers or answer patterns where necessary for the comparison, and age range or gender where provided and useful to personalize the report.

Comparison features may display a global compatibility score, such as a score out of 100, as well as a shared report presenting natural affinities, relationship strengths, potential friction points, and suggestions to better understand the relationship.

Unless the relevant user has explicitly authorized it, PersonalTraits does not display that person’s detailed TSI scores to the other participant. Even where detailed TSI score sharing is authorized, sub-tension scores and raw test answers are not displayed to the other participant, unless a feature clearly states otherwise and specific consent is provided.

Relationship comparison features should only be used with the informed and voluntary participation of the people involved. Before a comparison is generated, each invited participant should be clearly informed that their TSI profile data may be used to create a shared compatibility or relationship report, including a compatibility score, affinities, friction points, and relationship suggestions.

An invited participant’s acceptance of a comparison invitation should be recorded as an affirmative action, such as clicking an “I agree to participate in this comparison” button or an equivalent clear consent mechanism. A simple visit to an invitation link should not be treated as consent to participate.

You must not submit, recreate, or analyze another person’s profile without their permission.

A user may withdraw from a comparison feature or revoke the display of certain information where such controls are available. You can withdraw your participation by deleting the shared comparison report from your account, using any withdrawal controls made available in the feature, or contacting us. If one participant withdraws, the comparison report may become unavailable, deleted, or de-identified, subject to legal, security, accounting, dispute-resolution, or legitimate business retention needs.

Relationship and comparison reports are provided for personal reflection and personal development only. They are not therapy, couple counseling, psychological advice, mediation, diagnosis, or a guarantee of compatibility.

Some PersonalTraits features may use artificial intelligence to generate, personalize, translate, summarize, or enrich Results, reports, explanations, or recommendations.

When you use AI-assisted features, we aim to transmit to AI providers only the minimum information reasonably necessary to generate or improve the requested output.

Never intentionally transmitted to AI providers:

• full name;
• email address;
• postal address;
• payment details;
• account password;
• government identifiers;
• account ID;
• IP address, unless technically required by the AI provider or infrastructure for security, routing, abuse prevention, or service delivery.

May be transmitted when necessary for the requested AI-assisted feature:

We design AI requests to avoid direct identification. However, “not directly identifying” does not always mean fully anonymous under privacy laws. Some profile data may still be considered personal data if it can reasonably be linked back to you by PersonalTraits. We therefore treat AI-related profile data with appropriate confidentiality and safeguards.

AI-related data is minimized and, where possible, de-identified or pseudonymized. You should not submit sensitive, confidential, medical, financial, legal, or third-party personal information into free-text fields, AI chats, feedback boxes, or similar input areas unless we clearly request it and explain why it is needed.

For users located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, or another jurisdiction with similar data protection laws, we rely on one or more legal bases depending on the processing activity.

We do not use your TSI Results to make legal, employment, credit, insurance, medical, or similarly significant decisions about you.

If we ask you to provide personal data because it is necessary to provide the Services or comply with a legal requirement, we will indicate where possible whether the data is required and what may happen if you do not provide it.

PersonalTraits uses automated processing to calculate your TSI scores, sub-tension scores, profile insights, and Results.

This automated processing is used to provide the Services you request, including the TSI Test, free Results, Premium Reports, relationship comparison reports, and related features.

The Results are intended for personal reflection, self-discovery, education, personal development, and entertainment.

PersonalTraits does not use automated processing to make decisions that produce legal effects concerning you or similarly significant effects, such as employment, credit, insurance, medical, legal, or governmental decisions.

PersonalTraits is not designed to collect medical, psychiatric, therapeutic, clinical, or health data.

The TSI Test does not ask you to provide medical diagnoses, health records, biometric data, political opinions, religious beliefs, sexual orientation, trade union membership, criminal records, or other special categories of personal data.

Please do not submit such information in free-text fields, AI features, feedback forms, support messages, testimonials, or relationship comparison contexts unless we expressly request it and explain why it is needed.

If we become aware that unnecessary sensitive data has been submitted, we may delete it, anonymize it, restrict access to it, or take other appropriate steps.

If we ever need to process data that is considered sensitive or subject to special protection under applicable law, we will do so only where a valid legal basis exists, such as explicit consent, legal necessity, or another basis allowed by applicable law.

PersonalTraits is not a healthcare service and is not intended to be used by healthcare providers to collect, process, or store protected health information.

The Services are not designed to comply with the U.S. Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (“HIPAA”).

If you are a healthcare provider, covered entity, business associate, or similar regulated entity, you must not use PersonalTraits to process protected health information or medical records.

Do not use PersonalTraits for medical, clinical, diagnostic, therapeutic, or emergency purposes.

We may share personal data only as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy:

You may request deletion of your account by contacting support@personaltraits.co or using any account deletion feature available on the Platform.

When your account is deleted, we will delete, anonymize, or de-identify personal data associated with your account where required and reasonably possible.

Certain data may be retained where necessary for legal, accounting, tax, security, fraud-prevention, dispute resolution, chargeback, backup, or legitimate business purposes.

We may also retain anonymized, aggregated, pseudonymized, or de-identified data that no longer reasonably identifies you, for analytics, research, product improvement, and service development.

Before deleting your account, you should download or save any Results or reports you wish to keep where such functionality is available. After deletion, we may not be able to recover your account or content.

We may use cookies, local storage, pixels, SDKs, analytics identifiers, and similar technologies to:

• keep you logged in;
• remember your preferences;
• store technical settings;
• protect your account;
• detect fraud or abuse;
• measure performance;
• understand how users interact with the Services;
• improve our products;

We do not share your name, email address, TSI answers, TSI scores, Results, Premium Reports, or other psychological profile data with affiliates. Affiliates may receive only limited commission-related information, such as the fact that a qualifying purchase occurred, the amount of commission earned, and aggregated or non-identifying performance data. Where required by law, affiliate tracking cookies will be used only with your consent.

We may use TSI answers, scores, Results, usage data, feedback, and interaction data to improve PersonalTraits, evaluate report quality, detect inconsistencies, improve question design, develop new features, test system performance, and better understand personality-related patterns.

We may also invite you to participate in optional surveys, satisfaction questionnaires, or follow-up questions designed to improve the accuracy, relevance, and usefulness of PersonalTraits recommendations, reports, and future features. Participation in these surveys is voluntary. Where possible, survey responses are used in anonymized, aggregated, pseudonymized, or de-identified form.

Where possible, we use anonymized, aggregated, pseudonymized, or de-identified data for research, statistics, analytics, and product improvement.

We do not publish personal TSI Results in a way that identifies you without your consent.

We may publish or use aggregate insights, statistics, or trends that do not reasonably identify individual users.

Some features may allow you to share your Results, comments, testimonials, profile information, or other content with friends, family members, close contacts, social networks, or the public.

You are responsible for what you choose to share.

If you share your Results outside PersonalTraits, we cannot control how third parties view, copy, store, interpret, or reuse that information.

Do not share another person’s Results or personal data without their consent.

If you submit a testimonial for publication, we may display it publicly if you have submitted it for that purpose or otherwise authorized publication. Where required by law, we will obtain consent before using your name, image, likeness, or identifiable profile in public testimonials.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal data against loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction.

These measures may include access controls, encryption in transit, authentication systems, logging, monitoring, backups, internal access restrictions, and security review procedures.

However, no internet transmission, storage system, or electronic service can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. You use the Services at your own risk and should protect your account credentials.

PersonalTraits is intended for users aged 16 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal data from a child under 13, we will take reasonable steps to delete it. If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child has provided personal data to us, contact us at privacy@personaltraits.co.

We do not sell your personal data.

We do not use your TSI answers, scores, Results, or Premium Reports for third-party targeted advertising.

If we use advertising, affiliate, or marketing technologies that are considered “sharing,” “sale,” or “targeted advertising” under certain privacy laws, we will provide required notices and opt-out choices where applicable.

You may unsubscribe from marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link in the email or by contacting us. We may still send you transactional, security, account, purchase, or service-related messages.

Some browsers may send “Do Not Track” signals. Because there is no universally accepted standard for Do Not Track, we may not respond to all DNT signals. Where required by law, we will honor recognized opt-out preference signals, such as Global Privacy Control, when we can reasonably detect and apply them.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technologies, legal requirements, or Services. When we update this Policy, we will update the “Last updated” date above. Where required by law or where changes are material, we may notify you by email, in-app notice, website banner, or other reasonable means.

PersonalTraits may be made available in multiple languages. The official legal version of this Privacy Policy is the English version, unless applicable law requires otherwise. Translations are provided for convenience. If there is any conflict between the English version and a translated version, the English version will govern to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
